Our Tour Guide

Meet Andrew, a Scottish-born sake brewer and guide. He has a master's degree in Japanese studies and valuable experience working with sake breweries in Okayama, Hiroshima, and Nada in Hyogo. Andrew offers unique tours in the brewing off-season where he spends each winter making sake. He is passionate about traditional brewing techniques and has worked with many of the tools and equipment on display in the regions he tours. Andrew is also the creator of the Origin Sake website, co-host of the Sake Deep Dive podcast, and a proud member of the Hiroshima Toji Association.
